LED uses a well-known standard catalogue to standardize the data (SNOMED, LOINC, DICOM, ICD9 and 10, Rosetta RTM and Private Catalogues) which, when used in combination with a scientific software process and GUI interface viewer component, is powerful for Medical Decision Support and user friendly, less expensive than previous MDC.
